FFNY Quick Takes with Sucklord:
What’s your go to spot in NYC when you need a little hit of inspiration?
Usually a good bike ride down Eastern Canal street and beyond to all the un-gentrified fringes around southeast Manhattan will do the trick.
Have you stumbled upon a new spot or view in NYC that took you by surprise?
Plum beach out past Sheepshead in Jamaica Bay is really surreal and kinda sleazy. Its like if LOST took place in New York and had cruising.
Is there a part of town you’ve recently found a deeper appreciation for?
Brighton Beach. Playing around in the streets past where the EL is and all the supermarkets gives me that “I can’t believe I’m still in New York” feeling.
What’s the last NYC pic you snapped?
Front of a new Chinese spot called DUMPLING STORY. Looks like they have some interesting takes on the classic Soup Dumpling which I’m eager to try.
Any sneaky tips or little known secrets you swear by?
A coconut smoothie from Shan Fu spiked with a 3 dollar rum shot from Wedding Banquet Liquor makes for a fine date people watching in “Dimes Square”.
If you could only eat from one place in NYC the rest of time which spot would it be?
Fuck you for asking this, but I guess NetCost supermarket in Brighton cuz of the outrageous buffet they have there. It’s got everything.
What’s one thing we should all know right now?
This version of New York that you are living in right now and loving it, is going to disappear sooner than you think. Enjoy it while you can.
Any exciting projects you’re working on you’d like for us to know?
Buy my porn. And Oh yeah, I just started a NYC livestream at SUCKSTREAM.net
